Identity management thoughts from Aza Raskin

From one article in Co.Design, I find a blogger called Aza Raskin who does great design researches and practices and some of them relate to identity management.

One of his posts is about Privacy icon concepts which are used in websites to show personal data protection situations. Even though the icons are concepts now, they show several main concerns of personal data when people using websites: keep the original purpose of personal data; protect data from advertisers; duration of personal data; legal process and so on. It’s interesting to see this kind of concept and as the blogger said, “Identity will be one of the defining themes in the next five years of the Web”, this kind of information convinces me that the topic of IMPRINTS project is really meaningful for people’s future life.aza3(Pic from Aza Raskin’s blog)

Here is Aza Raskin’s another post about identity management on browser. This article reminds me to think more about different touchpoints when we get access to the world every time when it involves personal identity issue. Maybe from those touchpoints, browser as one example, I could find something to develop for my IMPRINTS project.
